What eco labels do Auro carry to prove they are pure?

Many of our products carry the ÖKO test and NaturPlus labels which are specific to Germany and are very highly regarded. Auro as a brand has been going for over 30 years and is generally seen as the pinnacle of sustainable paints so we have not set about adopting the new Euro Eco-Label with the flower symbol. Whereas we applaud the adoption of such an accreditation we feel it does not go far enough, our manufacturing processes coupled with the natural raw ingredients used, means the Auro products far, far surpass the current EU eco-label requirement, we are not suddenly jumping on the Eco bandwagon. Sustainability has always been the core part of our business and always will be. We urge customers to fully look into companies before committing to buy, there is a distinct difference between 'eco' and 'organic' and our preferred reference of 'natural' when it comes to paint. Less scrupulous companies use terms like 'organic' because their paint is based on organic chemistry, it has nothing to do with soil association accreditation in the same way as food does for instance and can be a misleading term, all paint is based on organic chemistry, so is making petrol. Always ask for a list of ingredients and some eco paint companies will either not give you one or site alkyds, acrylics or vinegar ester’s (sound natural but isn't) in the list, so please go in with eyes open. Wherever possible we will be transparent in all our activities.
Oils and fats from controlled biological cultivation (organic)
Ecology in every detail: Since the beginning of 2012, AURO uses oils and fats from controlled biological cultivation (German: kbA =kontrolliert biologischer Anbau). The coconut fat and palm kernel fat are certified by ECOCERT. The rapeseed, linseed and soya oils we now use were controlled by the IMO (Institute for Market Ecology) and the sunflower oil by the federal eco control point ‘Grünstempel’®.ECOCERT is one of the most important independent certifying bodies for biological products. ECOCERT’s international activities include examinations in the organic farming business as well as the manufacturing industry in more than 80 countries.
The seal of this bio-certification organisation guarantees certified biological quality of food and other products of ecological farming.Moreover, the rapeseed, linseed and soya oils are tested by the IMO (Institute for Market Ecology), an internationally approved independent control organization for the certification of environmentally friendly products, ecological farming and management systems.
Finally, the sunflower oil received its‚ green stamp‘ from Grünstempel®, a federal eco control point that is licensed by the German Federal Office for Agriculture and Food
