AURO 160 Woodstain is a water based natural oil timber treatment. Good surface protection, semi translucent, satin finish. Allows wood to breath and does not need stripping when re-coating. These water based wood stains come top compared to 22 other conventional and eco woodstains in the prestigious TEST magazine in Germany (the equivalent to the Which! report). They are very pure, containing no solvents so are brilliant to use in organic gardens (BBC Homes & Gardens used them recently), also fine to use around Koi fish ponds. Dust dry after 6–9 hours re-coatable after 24 hours. Final hardness reached after 3 days. Renovation cycle of 2–4 years, depending on conditions. 160-00 Colourless for interior use only, it has a milky appearance when wet but dries clear and transparent.
160 coloured for interior (one or more coats), or
exterior use (two - three coats) – giving a water repellent and weather
resistant finish. Thin with up to 20% water. Coloured stain can be intermixed, or diluted with 160-00 Colourless.
